Governance

Sharing one clear vision for individualised education.

Governors

As part of Dukes, Heathside continues to lead on all decisions and retain its independence. Dukes adds to this the benefit of the collective, providing security and support, a platform for sharing best practice, and the reassurance of a host of all-through education options.

Aatif Hassan is the Chairman of Dukes and Heathside. He can be contacted by email on aatif.hassan@dukeseducation.com or by calling the Dukes Education office on +44 (0) 203 696 5300. The postal address is : 58 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ.

The Governors support and challenge the school leadership team, monitor the quality of teaching and the progress of school improvement, and oversee behaviour and safety. Acting as ‘critical friend’ the Governors do not involve themselves directly in operational matters, which are the responsibility of the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team. The Governors’ role is primarily strategic.
