As our year came to an end, we all headed over to Heath Street Baptist Church to celebrate an amazing year at Heathside with our end-of-year assembly!
We celebrated by listening to our talented music scholars, announced the planting of trees for our student’s house point winners and reminisced about unforgettable trips and moments.
To make it even more special, the winners this year were given the gift of a newly planted tree. The trees chosen were: Oaks and Silver Birch, amongst others that will be planted throughout the National Forest. Trees are around 40-60cm tall – the perfect size for establishing themselves in their new home. After the end of the planting season, we will be in touch to confirm the location of the young woodland.
Farewell to our leavers, and here’s to the exciting new year ahead!
