Poetry Together is a fun time for children to come together and share stories through poetry. Some of our Y6 pupils took to the stage to perform a powerful rendition of Maya Angelou’s iconic poem “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” at this year’s Poetry Together event.
It was a truly special occasion, in the presence of HM Queen Camilla, Baroness Floella Benjamin, Roger McGough and hosted by the ever-charming Gyles Brandreth. Our pupils spoke eloquently and with great confidence. We couldn’t be prouder!
